How to use your Wedding Website in your invitations

The internet today has taken over as far as we know it. Especially when it comes to weddings. Everything from being able to RSVP online and weekend itineraries, no wonder more and more couples are opting in to create one. We don't blame you! It's actually one of the first questions we ask our wedding couples. Do you have a website? And what information is on that website?

As a wedding stationer, there are a few things we nit pick about. One of those things is opening an envelope and a ton none coordinated cards spilling out. This may not bother everyone, but it can drive us up the walls. When it comes to your wedding invitation suite, we believe there should be a rhyme or reason for every piece. So if having those additional inserts printed and made nice to coordinate with the rest of your invitations suite not fit into your budget, we highly suggest a wedding website. Keep in mind, your invitations are your only chance to give your guests that 1st Impression of your wedding day. If a mess of information is being thrown at them they more than likely will get overwhelmed.

Now, if your not the mass "additional inserts" kind of couple, and want to include your website, there are certain places to have it listed. It will normally go onto the reception card, never on the main invitation itself. That should be kept as formal as possible. Listing it on your RSVP card is a no no as well. Since your guests will be sending that back to you anyway, it's not the best place for it.

We know that your wedding budget can factors into which invitation suite you choose. I also know that having 4 plus inserts can get costly. So including an insert to list your wedding website can not only save you and your guests a headache, but will save on overall cost and postage.

There are always so many different options to choose from when conveying wedding information to your guests. We are more than happy to go over those options with you!
